30th Anniversary Dinner
(Bangsar Seafood Garden Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur on 27th November 2010)
The Institute's 30th Anniversary was celebrated with a chinese dinner function held at Bangsar Seafood Garden Restaurant on 27th November 2010. A total of 60 members and their guests attended the function.
It was a memorable occasion where a good number of old members which included many past presidents, founder members and past council members, came to support and cherish their long association with the Institute. Amongst them were Mr Low Seng Wie, Mr Lim Jit Liang, Mr Lim Yew Seng, Mr Foong Kai Ming, Dato Howard Chow, Mr Chu Kam, Mr Lim Teow Chuan, Mr Kenny Ong, Dr Harwinder Singh, Mr Wilson Han, Ms Wong Bee Ching and Mr Chandran Kasi. The present council consists of the President, Chow Seck Kai, Mr Fred Chin, Mr Lee Tiong Kheng, Mr Richard Chong, Encik Amjath and Mr Lee Ah Heng.
To commemorate the Anniversay, specially designed T-shirts and umbrellas bearing the Institute's emblem were given out to attendees at the dinner function. The event was rounded up with a cake cutting ceremony.
