Upgrading of Membership

Upgrade to Fellow

Associate members may up-grade their membership to "Fellow" if they have been an Associate Member of the Institute for 5 or more years and in the opinion of the Council is a fit and proper person to be awarded "Fellowship".

All applications for up-grading must be made by completing and signing the prescribed membership application form and forwarded to the Institute's secretariat together with the up-grading fee of RM 250.00.

Becoming a life member

Associate and Fellow members of the Institute may be elected as Life Members of the Institute by the payment of RM 1,000 and upon the approval of the Council. Life members shall be governed by all provisions of the Constitution save that they shall be exempted from Clause 8 of the Constitution.
